Description

  • Giltwood, mirror glass
  • 97cm. high, 70cm. wide; 3ft. 2in., 2ft. 3½in.
the rectangular plate within a moulded frame and pierced cresting, the whole carved with floral sprays, foliage and cartouches

Condition

In reasonable condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Minor losses to painted decoration. Some repairs, including one to far-left scroll of crest, and to the top left corner of frame. One further noticeable crack towards the middle of the bottom border of frame. The plate with extensive foxing and some losses to silvering.
