the circular drip-pans above baluster stems carved with acanthus leaves, cartouches and winged putti's heads, the tri-form base raised on lion paw feet; now mounted as lamps; re-gilt

Condition

A very attractive pair that has been re-gilt, drilled and formerly fitted for electricity. Marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and traces of old wooworm, which appears to be no longer active. Some construction cracks and wear to gilt surface. Minor losses overall. One with part of a putto's face missing from its base due to woodworm damage, and one lion's paw foot scroll restored. The other with two paw scrolls missing. General scuffing to feet consistent with age.
