Condition

The panel in uncradled and flat. There is vertical lines of tenting in the paint surface in the upper right corner and along the right margin that would require some attention. The varnish even but somewhat discoloured. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals very little because the varnish fluoresces opaque. There is a V shaped area of retouching visible, measuring 4 x 5 cm. in the background between the Saints profile and his shoulder, and only a few other minor spot retouchings. Offered in a carved gilt wood frame in fair condition.
