decorated with birds amongst branches on a tourquoise ground, some damage and converted to lamp bases

Newbattle Abbey, Midlothian, Inventory, 1901, p.110, possibly those in the Lamp Room; ‘Pair Cloisonne enamel lamps. 25" [with shade?]'

Condition

Decorative. One vase with losses, filled areas and with chips to enamel. Both with 20th century lamps fittings. The other in good order. These will need to re-wired by a qualified electrician.
