Diamond, ruby and seed pearl brooch, Late 19th Century

Designed as a pair of rabbits set with rose diamonds and cabochon ruby eyes, munching on a rose diamond and seed pearl radish, applied to a gold bar with seed pearl terminals.

Mounted in silver and gold, later safety catch to brooch pin on reverse, diamonds bright and lively all mounted in closed back settings, pearls well matched with good lustre and rose overtone, some oxidization and tarnish to silver and gold commensurate with age and wear, overall good condition. Later associated leather case stamped Garrard & Co. In good condition.
