comprising: a navette shaped brooch with central glazed locket containing a sepia mourning miniature painted on ivory depicting a seated lady by a funeral urn beneath a tree, applied with seed pearls, to a blue and white enamel frame, inscribed to the reverse DR; an oval shaped clasp with central glazed locket containing a sepia and hair miniature painted on ivory depicting a standing figure leaning against a funeral urn, the plinth inscribed "W.L. 17 Regt. Killed. Jan 3 1777. Aged 26"; a navette shaped mourning ring with central glazed locket containing a lock of hair applied with a wheat sheaf motif decorated with seed pearls, inscribed to the reverse "Mary Jones, Obt May 27, 1784, Aet 35" size O and a mourning ring, the oval swivel bezel with glazed locket to the obverse and the reverse, containing a sepia and hair ivory miniature depicting the monogram JR and a lock of plaited hair, size B.

Brooch mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, enamel frame in good condition, some minor losses to small seed pearl detail top and base of funeral plinth, overall good condition. Clasp mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, detachable tongue part of clasp now deficient, ivory miniature with several cracks, to left hand side top to bottom and across base left to right through plinth, right hand side through standing figure and left hand side of plinth. Ring mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, several small seed pearls deficient and loose under glass. Ring mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, ivory miniature with fine hairline crack to J and some discolouration due to age.
