Comprising: a gold and citrine intaglio ring, 1800s, the oval foil backed citirine carved to depict the sinistral profile of a lady, size M; a gold and hessonite garnet intaglio ring, 1800s, the oval hessonite garnet carved to depict the dextral profile of man, size H; a gold and bloodstone intaglio ring, 1800s, the oval bloodstone carved to depict the dextral profile of a man, size O; a gold and carnelian intaglio ring, 1800s, the oval carnelian carved to depict the sinistral profile of a man, size M and a magenta velvet lined travelling jewel case, mid 19th century.

Condition

Cirtrine intaglio, mounted in gold, minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear. Hessonite intaglio, mounted in gold, minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, signs of re-sizing to shank, contemporary chip to top of intaglio concealed by gold cut-down collet setting of mount. Bloodstone intaglio, mounted in gold, minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear. Carnelian intaglio, mounted in gold, minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear. Case in good condition, measurements approximately 12cm x 10cm x 2.5cm
