Comprising: a gold ring, the angular hoop inset with an oval agate intaglio depicting the profile of a bearded face, possibly Herakles, possibly 3rd to 2nd century BC, size O; a gold ring, the oval chalcedony intaglio depicting a standing figure holding a spear, to a scroll engraved mount, gem possibly late Roman, mount late 18th century, size L; a gold ring, the oval agate intaglio depisting a seated figure holding a sceptre, to a gold mount, gem possibly 1st century BC to 2nd century AD, mount late 18th century, size J; a gold ring inset with an oval lapis lzuli Rosette stone, late 18th, early 19th century, size Q.

Condition

Annular hoop ring mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear and traces of red sealing wax to base of bezel, agate intaglio with large chip to neck of bearded face. Chalcedony intaglio ring mounted in gold with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear. Agate intaglio mounted in gold, with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear and wear to gold collet setting, old repair to inside of base of shank, strengthened with gold insert. Rosette stone ring mounted in gold with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, lapis lazuli rosette stone loose with some small chips to petals.
