  • sporran length 47cm.; 1ft. 6½in.
comprising a Victorian silver mounted horsehair sporran, Hamilton & Inches Edinburgh, 1892, the cantle engraved and applied with the crests and mottos for Forbes Hepburn Stuart Trefusis, a 17th century style sporran, with a decorated brass cantle over a suede pouch and tassels, late 19th century, a plain brown leather belt, a silvered metal mounted ebony dirk in a leather sheaf, a silvered metal kilt-pin by Jamieson Edinburgh with the Forbes crest (5)

Condition

Nice quality. Surface dirt and marks. Blade rusted and will require cleaning reconditioning. Leather to sporran with corrosion, residual dirt. Would benefit from gentle cleaning/consolidation.
