each with Gothic tracery, later green painted

Old estate repairs. Wear from garden and exposure to the elements. Distressed. Repainted and with residual moss etc. Some elements mis-shapen but solid and ready to use in the garden subject to taste. This pair of benches are lighter in weight than lot 369.

The design for these garden benches was published in 1858 in the Barbezat & Cie Fonderies du Val D'Osne Catalogue, 'Bancs de Jardin', plate 251.
