  • urn 33cm. high, twin light candelabra 24.5cm. high, candlesticks 27.5cm.; 1ft. 1in., 9 3/4in., 10 3/4in.
comprising a pair of bronze and gilt-bronze twin light candelabra, late 19th century, with ebonised wood plinth bases, signed 'L. Kley', together with a pair of Empire bronze and gilt-bronze candlesticks, first quarter 19th century, with white marble bases, and a cast patinated metal urn, after the Gaeta Vase, now adapted as a lamp and mounted on a square mahogany base, this lot also includes some cut-glass chandelier components, alterations (qty)

Condition

Very decorative All have been drilled in several sites for cables and will need to be o be professionally re-wired if they are to to be used as lamps. There are residual bayonet fittings in the socles of each if they are to be used as candlesticks these will need to be removed. Old marks and scratches throughout. Mahogany bases of twin light pair with scratches and old marks. This pair with leaf cast collars below socles designed for glass lustres now lacking. One socle loose on single candlesticks and will need reattached, the marble on this pair with old chips, marks and scratches, one of these bases with repaired break. The cut and moulded glass components (which don't relate) dirty and with chips, losses, breaks and repairs.
