carved with foliage, figures and fowl around the Forbes armorial above the badge of Nova Scotia and monograms including those of John Stuart Forbes and Harriet Kerr, with boarded seats raised on turned front legs and block rear legs, each signed to the reverse 'G. Troup Fecit'

Condition

These chairs are in excellent condition considering age and use. There are old marks and scratches which are fairly minor. The boarded seats with separations, ink spots and ring marks. Nice quality,
