each with the Forbes crest and motto with supporters and a thistle to the reverse, the underside of one with etched geometric decoration

Probably acquired by or given to Sir William Forbes, 6th Bt. (1739-1806)

Condition

Generally very good. Lovely quality and of great charm. Some spotted marks around borders of crest on one. Old marks consistent with age and as to be expected.
