Catalogue Note

A beautiful selection of flowers and fruits, showing roses, poppies, marguerites, pears, strawberries and many others. The majority of the engravings are after Henriette Antoinette Vincent, an early nineteenth-century botanical painter at the French court. It appears to be a somewhat later composition of the Etudes de fleurs et de fruits.
