modelled by Johann Joachim Kändler, with Pluto bearing away Proserpine, supported by a tree stump on a scroll-molded base, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue.

Condition

Pluto's both hands are restored; the restorations are very well done. there are occasional small chips or restored chips to the edges of flowers or leaves. The edges of both Proserpine's feet are restored, covering breaks. Her right arm and left arm are also well-restored, possibly covering a break. Otherwise in good condition.
