Condition
In overall good condition and presentation, with all pietre dure panels in tact with little to no wear to their surface. The interior liner appears to be original, but some areas are lifting or separating from the case. There are traces of discoloration and light oxidation consistent with age and atmospheric conditions. The non-bronze metallic surface has been previously painted black with areas of that painted surface rubbed due to use. The singular hinge feels loose while it rests closed.
