Condition
Overall good condition. Fine hairline fissures at several places and a few lacks to the edges.

Catalogue Note
Tobias van Tissenaken, connu entre 1596 et sa mort en 1624, doyen de la gilde de Saint-Luc à Malines, en 1619. Jan ou Hans Verbeke, de 1595 à 1607 à la gilde de Saint-Luc à Malines, maître cleynsteker en 1610. Selon une attribution du Musée de l'Hôtel Sandelin à Saint-Omer avancée au sujet d'un albâtre figurant la fuite en Egypte, le monogramme VB pourrait plutôt se rapporter à Peeter van Baelen, apprenti dans l'atelier de Lievin van Egom à partir de 1612.
