Condition
The papier is slightly crumpled in the upper left. The white pastel on the collar is slightly worn, but it's barely visible. Was probably restored.
Very good condition.
The paper is slightly clearer in reality than it appears in the catalogue.

Selon Frédérique de Watrigant, ce dessin est issu d'une série réalisée pour un album intitulé Chansons simplettes pour les petits enfants dont Lucie Félix-Faure Goyau a écrit les textes des chansons. Cet album avait été commandé par la marque d'aliments pour bébés Phosphatine Falières et publié en 1906. Le modèle pour ce dessin serait Violette Dauriac.
