Condition

The sheet is attached to the mount with one picture corner at each corner, but is not laid down. The sheet appears sound. The Artist appears to have attached adhesive strips to all four edges which have slightly discoloured and are not visible in the current mount. There is a tiny loss towards the right side of the lower horizontal edge, and a further scuff to the upper edge in the upper left corner. There are some very slight possible scuffs apparent in the lower right quadrant, near the centre of the right vertical edge. There is some further very slight scratching apparent in the upper centre of the work, around the area of green pastel, with some very slight scuffs also visible in the upper right corner. There are some spots of foxing and staining to the sheet in places, most apparent in the upper right corner and the lower right quadrant, and there are one or two spots of studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held in a moulded wooden frame, held under glass.
