Condition
Original canvas. Some occasional signs of craquelure in the yellow and some small areas in the monkey. Also near centre of lower edge and in lower right corner; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held under glass in a gilt composite frame; unexamined out of frame.
