Condition
The canvas has not been lined and is undulating in places. There are areas of craquelure notably in the upper and lower potions of the canvas with some associated specks of paint loss. There is an indentation to the canvas upper centre with an area of associated paint loss. There are further minor abrasions, marks and scuffs with occasional specks of paint loss. Surface dirt throughout.
UV light inspection reveals areas of fluorescence throughout the work, however, these appear to be artist's original pigments rather than retouching's.
