the body covered in a creamy-white slip and clear glaze, flanked by two handles formed by lion masks issuing fixed rings, large lotus blossoms on spiraling leafy vines painted in brown between rows of raised bosses, the seat top painted with a spotted qilin amidst auspicious objects
Condition
Restored from multiple large breaks. Two losses to the base (largest approx. 2 x 9 cm). Fritting all around the rim and to the some small areas of the body. Expected wear to surface and minor firing imperfections throughout.
