Description

  • amethyst, gold
Designed as a line of oval amethysts in foil-backed settings, length approximately 410mm, dividing into two bracelets, each length approximately 205mm.

Condition

Amethysts light to mid purple, transparent, good saturation, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, typical colour zoning visible, some discoloration and loss of the foil at the back of the stones. Amethyst are ranging in size, smallest approximately 10.00 x 12.50 mm and largest approximately 11.00 x 14.50mm. Amethyst are foiled backed, depth is not possible to measure. Scratches and dents to metal and amethyst surfaces consistent with age and wear. Some dents has caused holed to mount. Solder repair visible to reverse around connecting links. Clasps in good working order, closes securely. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear.
