Description

  • length of fruit forks 18.7cm, 7 1/2 in.; length of largest knife 32.5cm, 12 3/4 in.
comprising six fruit forks, five serving forks, five serving knives, a pair of grape shears/nutcrackers, and a scoop, the handles cast with foliate strapwork, gilt tines and blades, 84 standard, one fruit fork 1899-1908, in original box, the lid with presentation plaque inscribed in Russian 'A kind keepsake/ for [our] daughter's saviour dear/ Maksim Abramovitch/ from grateful/ V. and R. Bershtein/ 4 April 1909'

Condition

The silver in excellent condition, possibly never used, the wood box has been repaired.
