enamelled in translucent salmon pink over moiré engine-turning, both sides painted with ribbon-tied branches, the front with a hanging basket, the lid border set with rose-cut diamonds between leaf trails, large circular-cut diamond thumbpiece, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 72 standard, scratched inventory number 16993, Soviet control mark

Condition
There are three areas of restoration, one at the lower right corner, another at the middle of the lower side, and to the lid at the hinge, otherwise in good order, with minor surface scratches, the hinge slightly loose.
