Condition
Original canvas. There is fine craquelure in places as well as a few scattered paint chips, notably to the path on the far side of the bridge. There is a small scratch to the sky towards the centre of the canvas. There are frame abrasions along the edges with some associated paint loss. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals sweeping retouching to the sky along the top edge as well as scattered retouching throughout. Held in a gold painted wooded frame with plaster mouldings. Unexamined out of frame.
