Condition

There are losses and cracks to the white pigment, mostly restricted to several small areas at the front of the rucksack, to the bottom of the shoulder straps and to the pocket straps. In some of these areas of pigment loss the canvas texture of the rucksack is showing through. There is a hole approximately 7cm in length at the back of the rucksack which was likely there when the artist started working on the piece. There is discolouration to the artist's label.
