Condition

The work is double-sided and there is an oil portrait on the reverse. The board is sound. There are small chips and abrasions along all four edges with some minor associated paint loss. There are holes in each of the corners. There are several flecks of paint loss scattered throughout the composition. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt and there are spots in places. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any apparent signs of retouching. Held in a simple brown frame. Unexamined out of frame.
