Etching with drypoint, circa 1650, a good impression of New Hollstein's second state (of five), printing with touches of burr on the boat and trees, on paper with an unidentified watermark
Condition
With narrow margins on three sides, trimmed fractionally within the plate mark above, generally in good condition apart from a 1 by 10mm made up area touched in with pen and ink at lower left, a 5mm repaired tear at the upper sheet edge, an associated vertical crease visible in the unprinted area above the trees and farmhouse, unframed.
