Condition

This charming portrait is rendered with great sensitivity and clarity. Of particular note is the intricately carved chair, with vibrant patterned fabric. An unobtrusive, very thin border of tarnish follows the mat's shape at the lower and left edges. Upon very close inspection are several tiny rust-colored spots on the image. Notations on the reverse of the seal indicate that it was resealed in 1995. The case is intact and only slightly worn.
