Condition

These photographs are in generally excellent condition. When examined closely in high raking light, some prints exhibit the faintest silvering in the darkest areas at the periphery and there are a few tiny pinpoint-sized impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion. There is very minor soiling on some of the mounts. The photographs that are titled are as follows: Reeds and Ponds Ise Kyoto - Shrine Toba - Pearl Rafts Kyoto - Palace Shrine Yard - Ise head stone lichen Ice - frozen waterfall - Toba Toba Kyoto Ise Fishing Fleet - Toba area Seaweed Bed - Toba Bamboo Kyoto
