Description
- Cloisonne enamel
standing on long tubular legs with their heads turned to the left and right, brightly enameled with white feathers and black breast feathers, their wings and tail feathers detailed with blue and turquoise (2)
Condition
Both cranes are in overall good condition, although the bases are missing. Both with the underside of the feet pierced in the middle.
The crane on the right of the catalogue illustration with a warped lower beak.
The crane on the left of the catalogue illustration with a bruise to the chest with associated losses to the enamels.
Both with some tail feathers pushed in and some light wear to the gilt-metal parts
