each in the shape of a duck standing on a rocky base, the polychrome wings forming the detachable covers; together with a pair of gilt-bronze and cloisonné enamel pelican-shaped censers and covers (8)
Condition
From the left to the right of the catalogue illustration:
A.
Very good overall condition with minor losses to the enamels especially near to the tail.
There are scratches on the beak.
B.
There are losses to the enamels especially between the wings of the cover over a ca. 1.5 x 1.5 cm and on the base of the neck over a ca. 0.5 x 0.5 cm, but also under the beak and under the legs.
C.
There are losses to the enamels especially between the wings of the cover, the base of the neck, around the tail, under the legs.
There is minor wear to the gilding.
D.
There are very tiny losses to the enamels.
There is tiny wear to the gilding.
The solder line is visible on the beak with a bruise.
