Condition

The canvas has been relined, the paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is clear and even. There is a 1cm. long loss in the centre above the urn, and another slightly larger loss, upper right, above the peacock's head, at the end of a short surface scratch. In overall good condition. Offered in a carved and gesso gilt wood frame in good condition.
