Condition

In overall very good condition. The panel is uncradled, flat and stable; the paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is clear and even. Some details, such as parts of the rigging, have been slightly rubbed. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals few, small scattered retouchings in the sky, and a more concentrated area in the upper left, measuring approx. 1 by 3 cm. Offered in a plain wood Dutch-style frame with wave decoration in good condition.
