Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is good, with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are several chips and abrasions to the edges and corners, notably losses to both bottom corners. There is also a loss to the top left corner at the back. There are also a few more minor chips and abrasions to the high points of the relief, including the chin and the truncation at the neck. There are also a few minor scratches, including to the neck and to the forehead. There is some whitish encrusted residue around the edges, particularly on the right side. There is some light discolouration to the marble in areas, particularly around the bottom. There is some blue writing to the back of the relief.
