Condition
Overall the condition of the gold is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. One of the larger beads framing the setting appears to be lost; and it is possible that a small number of the smaller beads are also lost. There is minor warping to the gold throughout, particularly to the edges of the hoop. There are a few minor stable open joints, or fissures, to the hoop, and one to the edge of the bezel. There are several minor dents and scratches throughout. There are some very minor chips to the outer edges of the garnet.
