in George III style, the baize inset top above three frieze drawers, the central drawer fitted with a hinged writing surface, the opposing side with a hinged writing slide above dummy drawers, on square tapering legs

Condition

In reasonable restored condition. Some loses to the mouldings, banding and stringing. The baize top with old marks and scuffs. The dummy slide to one side lacking its handles and has been patched. The writing slides to each side lacking a ratcheted support. Evidence of re-veneering with differences to colour of veneers notably around the drawers. Minor old marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use.
