Purchased by Charles Pierrepont, 3rd Earl Manvers for Thoresby Hall circa 1870 during the renovation of the house by Anthony Salvin;
Thence by descent.

Condition

This elegant table is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The leather-lined top is worn, with extensive staining most notably to one side. The front-right drawer with one segment of moulding missing. Both returns with staining and some discolouration.
