Description

- 82.5cm. high, 72cm. wide, 38.5cm. deep; 2ft. 8½in., 2ft. 4¼in., 1ft. 3in.
the serpentine shaped rouge royal marble top above two drawers en arbalète, on cabriole legs ending in cast pierced sabots; with the stamp cut to the left hand back corner L. above LA and E above RE to the right hand corner, remounted

Most probably purchased by Arthur Hill-Trevor, 3rd Viscount Dungannon (1798 – 1862) for 3, Grafton Street, London;
Moved to Brynkinalt Hall, Denbighshire following his death and thence by descent.

Condition
An attractive piece in good conserved condition. The marble top has been restored. The left corner mount is slightly lose, and there are some restorations to the veneer. The bronzes have been probably re-gilt at some point.
