on a later stand with a single frieze drawer on later spiral-twist legs, on brass cappings and castors

Condition

Overall in reasonable restored condition. The marquetry top is very fine though the walnut banding is later and some of the marquetry panels have been slightly reduced accordingly. The top is warped slightly and there are minor loses, chips and restorations to the marquetry commensurate with age. There are two noticeable loses to veneers at opposing corners of the top and the moulded edge on one side with signs of movement and lifting. The stand is well matched and overall with minor chips and scratches consistent with age and use. An attractive table.
