Condition
This sofa is in good condition. There are marks and scratches consistent with age and use as well as traces of old woodworm which appears to be no longer active. There are some losses to the carving, most notably on the left-hand side scroll of the backrest frieze. Part of the listel found on the bottom frieze is missing. The upholstery is worn and stained overall. An imposing, solid, and very decorative piece.
