Description

  • Gilt bronze, porcelain, mahogany
  • 124cm. high, 58cm. wide, 36cm. deep; 4ft. 1in., 1ft. 11in., 1ft. 2in.
the upper structure inset with a Wedgewood medallion above a vernis martin lacquered panel depicting a romantic scene above a red marble top, the probably replaced back at the inside covered with red velvet, with one shelf and five vertical divisions, on toupie feet; the back with label 'O.N.' and inventory label 'H. V. v. W. Privat-Eigentum No. 531' 

Condition

A piece in good conserved condition. There are losses to the painted panel, and lifting to the bronze bands on both sides. There is a faint hairline crack to the porcelain medallion.
