A 17th-century copy after Lucas Vorsterman's widely known and oft-copied engraving1 of Sir Peter Paul Rubens' The Adoration of the Magi in the Church of Saint John the Baptist and Saint John the Evangelist, Mechelen.2 The use of a slate support may suggest an Italian origin.
