Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is some rubbing and light surface dirt to the edges of the canvas, and some rubbing, flattening and surface dirt to some of the tips of impasto. There are three small spots of loss to the white pigment at the centre of the right vertical edge, and there may be some very small further losses to some of the tips of impasto in places. There are some slight scuff marks apparent in the upper right corner, and there are some slight, minor scuffs visible elsewhere. There is some light surface dirt and studio detritus in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is float mounted in a simple painted wooden frame.
