Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There are fine lines of craquelure in places. There are spots of surface dirt and staining, and the work might benefit from a light clean. There is a very small fleck of loss towards the centre of the upper edge.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching.
The work is held within a wood frame with a light grey wash.
