Condition

Not examined out of the frame. The canvas appears original. The canvas undulates slightly at the upper left corner, otherwise the canvas appears sound. There is some very slight rubbing and light surface dirt apparent at the lower left corner. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a simple gilded and painted wooden frame, held under glass.
