Condition
There is notable craquelere and pigment lifting in the work, more to areas of the thicker paint application. Intermittent spots of losses mostly visible in some areas of the upper left, upper right and the roof of a house in the lower center. The surface area of this work was vulnerable to loss and thus has been recently consolidated to ensure long term preservation. This work has not been inspected outside its frame. The painting is brighter and more lush in reality than reproduced in the catalogue illustration, especially the blues and the greens.
