Condition
The canvas of this work has been relined. There is significant surface dirt, and specks of red emulsion paint, uneven craquelure, and flakes of paint loss scattered throughout the work. There is an area of small surface loss to the base of the trees, right and centre of the work. A repaired tear approx. 10 cm is to the centre right, in the foreground beneath the trees. The work would benefit from professional conservation.
