Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is very good, with minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. A few original casting joints are slightly visible, including at both proper right arms and Theseus's proper left thigh. There is a lacuna and a slightly uneven joint where the hind hooves join the terrasse. There are a few minor nicks, including to Theseus's proper right temple, his proper right arm and to his back. There are a few original stable hairline fissures, including to the drapery on the horse's back on the proper left side.
